Scenario
A business incubator named The BIG-START in UAE is planning to hire a candidate who has a good analytical mindset in the field of entrepreneurship. You have been shortlisted for the interview and as per the interview guidelines you need to do the following task.
Task -Report Writing
You are to appear for an interview at The Big Start. Prior to the interview date, you are required to write a report that will be assessed by the company to gauge your knowledge on entrepreneurial ventures.
In the report you must do the following:
1.Critically examine different types of entrepreneurial ventures, evaluate the similarities and differences between the venture types and investigate the scope of entrepreneurial ventures using a variety of examples.
2.Evaluate and critically examine the traits, skills, and characteristics associated with entrepreneurship using examples of entrepreneurs from across the globe. a variety of examples.
3.Explain what is meant by an entrepreneurial mindset citing examples, and examine skills and characteristics associated with an entrepreneurial mindset and determine the ways in which the entrepreneurial mindset can be encouraged and what it can bring to a new venture by rigorous research of academic and non – academic literature.
4.Compare the differences between micro, small, medium, and large businesses and appraise the impacts of these businesses on different levels (International, National, Regional, Local) of the economy, interpret appropriate data and statistics to support your argument
5.Discuss the differences and similarities between public and corporate intrapreneurship.
6.Explore and evaluate how intrapreneurship benefits organisations and leads to competitive advantage by citing examples.
